From dorm room to barrel factory
In the beginning,” the shop” primarily sold vaulting shoes to Danish vaulters from a dorm room in Lyngby. From here, the shop developed and soon started selling clothes, unitards, barrels and handles to all of Scandinavia and the world.
- I made the first barrel in 2009 in a small hobby workshop at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). We still use the original design today; however, we have developed it during the years to make the barrels as strong, steady and light as possible.
The production of barrels and handles moved to the family farm on Lolland Island in 2015. From here, more than 150 horse barrels have since been produced.
